Pre May18th eqgame and eqmain after the 6/22 patch

I've had the pleasantry of a hard drive crash last week. I have pre May 18th files, but not pre June 22nd files. Is it still possible to use the pre May 18th eqgame and eqmain.dll with the current other files? I've been getting a 1017 that I can't seem to iron out.

My error is after selecting my server. World reports the following at error-time:

[error] expecting OP_SendLoginInfo, got 241
Removing client....

These pre may 18th files worked for minilogin before i had to reinstall 6/24 after the HD crash.
