Default "CreateSurface (Primary) Failed!"

THIS IS NOT A QUESTION ABOUT EQW.

I downloaded those three files and eqw, but not sure if eqemu came w/ it or not.

hello, i just downloaded the 3 things posted on your site as well as EQW 2.21 (newest) (fed up w/ eq, playing 5+ hours a day to keep up isn't realistic for me). My problem is that when i try to open EQW, i get the message "CreateSurface (Primary) Failed!" followed by some numbers. in readme it simply says "specify the full path blah blah blah" ( i would need to do this b/c eq is in a diff spot than c:\programfiles\everquest\) which i don't know how to do, and that probably isn't the best solution. This is why i then proceeded to the eqgame.exe method, as posted in the sticky, and i tried running it in MSDOS as well, because i heard it will work from there too. I want to confirm i changed the eqhost.exe file too. When i click on eqgame.exe a small error box comes up saying "please use Everquest.exe", and i don't know where to "click start" and then "click run" as shown in the sticky. Like i said before, i heard somewhere you can use those same lines in MSDOS to get it to execute, but it says "C:\Progra~1" and i need it to change to where my everquest directory is ACTUALLY AT. Please respond with some helpful hints, b/c the emu looks hella fun (CT in gfay).
