Perl Client Patch-List generator
Ok i've recently compleated a small perl program for dissassembling the everquest-updates.xml file and generating a DL list based on a few choices at the start.
I have a few questions about it...
1. Is it legal? all the information is there in free readable files and has released alot of the expansions freely in alot of cases. but still they might not like people being able to effectivly download the entire game off their patch servers...
2. Is it usefull to anyone else? i made it because i lent my cd's to a friend for a LAN party (I was hosting the server) and they got scatched to death, the install breaking half way through.
3. Does anybody want it? well this one is pretty self explanetory....
The program exports to Getright .gtx format, but that's easy enough to change.
