Firefox is faster than IE, has more features, and yes it actually does indeed support more web standards than IE does. My own analysis and every report I have read has shown Firefox to be superior to IE in every way possible except in enterprise situations of course. Saying that IE is the best browser for Winblows simply because it comes with it is a flat out ignorant statement. That is like saying that Winblows Media Player is the best MP3 player out there.
