Minilogin DON'T work with eqemu live 0.6.2 (Lan server)

Forgot to mention I got everything working now.

Thx to Tallerin and all others for the help.

Installed 0.6.2, minilogin 6.2 mysql & perl.
The biggest issue on installing is the OP Codes.
Changed them and it works fine.

MUST use port 5999 for 0.6.2, is this correct? I cant get it working on 5998.

Anyway works great love all you guys for this awesome program!

can you explain more what you did to get your login to work. I have a server up on LAN and I can enter character creation make the character but then it freezes up and boots me back to server select before I can spawn into the game.

I'd like to know how you go yours up and running

The fix I found out about has to do with editing your hosts file.

c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\ folder. Edit with notepad.

On each computer on the lan that wants to connect to the server. Add the line:

192.168.1.100 no-ip.com

Except change to your internal ip# and whatever your no-ip address is.

Yupp edit the Hosts file in windows etc directory

192.168.1.222 eqserver.com

the "eqserver.com" can be whatever your system is named

Also VERY IMPORTANT, check the loginserver.ini and boot5zones.bat

If your using minilogin it has to be typed correctly. use 127.0.0.1 first and if it still hangs use localhost. See to it that localhost is in your /etc Hosts file. It should be there by default.

Do you have any errors when you start up minilogin.exe, world.exe and zone.exe? If so post your ini's aswell as your errors.
