Anyway, if you're good with C++, you can check out the bug list at
http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...akka=Issues062 and see if there's anything you want to try to tackle. There's a pretty steep learning curve to the code, from what I've heard. Feel free to stop by #support on IRC, as there are people there who can help get you started.
If you don't code C++, the best way to help is to play the emu and post good bug reports for the devs.
And don't worry about getting flamed, unless you ask for info about client patches. Then you're just asking for it :P Most of the people on the boards are really friendly and helpful, though.
