Default Closest server to live?

I realize there's a lot of contempt for the current servers, but seeing as how I only played it for a week (after which the company cancelled my free trial account for some reason they never explained), I'd like to explore the complete world without very much custom content. I tried one custom content and got dropped on a custom newbie zone with only red monsters to fight...yes, much better than Gloomingdeep.

The emulation is kind of new and unperfected, I know, but I was just wondering if there were any roadblocks in creating servers with content from the later expansions and even PoR.

For the most part, the most complete database available is Project EQ's. Their server, PEQ, is probably the most stable and "Live-like" to play on. However, this only goes into Luclin (Luclin being in beta right now).

You just have to understand how long it takes to collect all of the packets and other information required to fix up a complete database. It may be disappointing but it's all we have
