Dynamic zones are zones you want to keep loaded ALL the time, due to high traffic. That way people ca zone into it easier. Don't worry about the 'error', unless you have a good computer.
Ok--tried logging into the game, and it gives me a error through Windows. It says "EQ has experienced an error and has to shut down....blah blah, do you wish to send a error report?"
So, still can't play--would this be because of the binaries or something else?

Thanks again!
What database are you using , did you make any updates to it? I've had this happen to me with a database that didn't save data I added right - after restore from back up, it went away.
I'm using caveman's. I "think" it is up to date, but as I said, I'm completely knew to this, so I could be wrong. I ran all that good stuff in "c:\mysql\bin\mysql -u root eq" and it said query loaded ok.

Yes, followed those directions. I think figured out the problem though. I hadn't patched anything. But, now I'm getting a new error. It is telling me "d3dx9_30.dll" was not found. I noticed that isn't one of the required .dll files--any ideas know?
