Hi I fixed it by re installing sirect x ......I know get a list of servers but when I click them the game seems to freeze ....I will try some others, failing that I was thinking of just setting up my own server for myself to play on initially is this feasable also did I do the right thing by patching the titanium edition and it says I have 0 of 0 expansions how can I fix this?

To patch or not to patch. My first few days of messing with Emu were the same confusion, thinking I could run just any ol client, without patching, or loading old discs one at a time until I found the magic patch combo. No dice.

Dates of posts are pretty important when reading how to do stuff. If the Wiki is out of date, we can change the content. Someone just needs to remember to do that after they have solved their problems and are no longer in need of assistance.

......I actually have everything set up now and after all that I dont know how to speak with npcs lol I read hold left click but that does nothing ........how do I get access to the default npc quests? there is no npc with an exclamation mark over there head in the starting town?

Excuse my ignorance as Im new to eq .....I would be really grateful if someone could tell me where Im going wrong .

You see my idea was register a server here and lock it ....set locked = true in the ini file so I could just grind on my own ........I know that may sound lame but i just want to try the quests and I reckon I have less chance of getting into trouble playing mnyself than hosting for multiple people .......I just want to do this initially
