i am getting the same problem i was on earlier today and now when ig et to server select it either tells me everquest has had a problem and must be shutdown or i get to click play everquest and it crashed my comp

Make sure nothing "accidentally" patched by running the wrong exe, and I get this once in a blue moon myself. I usually just have to try again and it works fine. The only time I got really stuck was when I synched a version of the Emu client from a desktop with 1600x1200 screen res, and my monitor was only 1280x1024.

Nuked the eqclient.ini file (and let it build a new one) and everything was fine.

I use to get it once in a blue moon too but now I am getting everytime I try and get through the login server. I get to the server select screen and everytime it says EverQuest has encountered an error and needs to be shut down. Very annoying problem and we need some answers.
