No offense to KLS like I said folks.....

KLS is one of the BEST Devs i've ever had pleasure of talking too on this project...

I was just a bit upset that this EVER reached SVN..... Pets on live will always agro the Player.. if in close range over the pet...always !! .... Until that player backs up... then and only then will the NPC attack the pet.....

I am sorry for being blunt KLS , you are awsome bud.. and so is EQEMU... I wasn't trying to attack anyone..

Sounds like I read Kings post the wrong way as I am sure now he meant no disrespect towards KLS and her contributions as a software developer. I guess I'm a bit defensive these days considering all the crap that has been flung in the developer teams direction over the last couple months.

Guess I need to settle down

The way it works on EQLive is that an NPC Will always attack a PC over an NPC if there is a PC in range, regardless of how much aggro the NPC has.

This applies to NPC vs NPC's as well as NPC vs Pets, even if the Pet has more aggro than its owner, if the owner is in melee range the NPC will attack the owner.

Just clarifying how it works on live.
