Client Crashes Instantly - Help!

I had the exact same problem, this fixed it for me too. Hurray for windowed mode!

I have 8800gtx video card. Running on xp. I set the videomode to 3, and windowedmode is set to true. when i get to the character select screen and even in-game it skips. I had the exact same warning:

"You currently have a NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GT (6.14.11.6921) video card installed. We recommend that you download version 8185 drivers before playing EverQuest. You can pick these up at http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp."

Anyone know anything else that could help me out? I really miss EQ1 and i wanna play it again !!! =D

AMD 6000+ (dual-core) if you need to know, i see that other people have problems with multi-core processors
