Support::General SupportPost all topics here having to do with errors while trying to connect to an EQEMu server but not about the setup/running of the Server itself.
It hasn't I am working on a fresh install of titanium. I did the patchme, and the host change. I am unable to see the ui, or something. I dunno. I wanna play the evercrack like in the days of old.
Bit of an update, I reinstalled and did the configuration again and nothing. Still just loops the intro music, and a guy just stands there. It does this on ever server.
My guess is that the UI you are using is probably not compatible with Titanium. That could very well be the case if you are using an illegal copy of Everquest Titanium for your install. You need to have a legal copy of Titanium before we can give you support on these forums. Let me know if I am wrong, but that is what it sounds like to me. You can always try downloading a compatible UI if you can find one.
Hmm, how did you change your everquest resolution? Did you edit one of the config files directly or did you run the everquest config exe file? If you edited a config file directly via notepad, maybe you removed something for UI files that needs to be there. I am running out of ideas here lol. It either has to be something related to your UI config or some kind of drivers issue. I would try the EQLive forums in support and see if there are issues with your video card or laptop. You may need to run older drivers for your video card. Also are you running directX 9 or 10? I am not sure if it works in 10 or not, I haven't heard anyone confirm that yet.
I am running an 8800 with the latest drivers dated dec of '07. I used the optionseditor.exe to change the resolution, to 1024x768 and set my monitor to that. I am going to try another driver. I am running XP, with dx 9.0c. Anyone have any ideas?
