If you use CVS to checkout the source, you can use the
-D switch to specify a specific date.
As far as version releases, this is what I have been able to gather from
old news pages & the
archived forum threads:
0.5.7-DR4:
5/27/2004, but still current thru 6/14/2004?
0.5.7-DR6: Before
9/24/2004 &
7/4/2004, probably closer to
6/21/2004.
0.5.9-DR1:
10/8/2004?
0.5.9-DR2:
10/10/2004?
One other thing to keep in mind is the 2 different CVS repositories:
eqemu &
eqemulator. The first stopped being updated around 4/8/2004 based on the
changelogs and the 2nd is the current repository, so based on that, I assume 0.5.7-DR6 would be in the current repository.
