I've tried relogging into other servers just not as many times as the certain one. I'm using the retail version of Titanium, 5 discs, just got it yesterday from amazon.

Only thing i noticed on install was it seemed to install pretty fast for 5 discs.

I disabled both windows and nvidia firewalls. I'm at home so theres no special security hardware etc.

Well, then there are 2 other things I can think of to check for now. First, what type of internet connection do you have? If it is dialup, then you might need to adjust your datarate. I think you have to create a file to do that, but I don't know the specifics on that one offhand. You can probable search the forums for datarate or something to figure that out. The thing is to make sure you aren't running any P2P or Torrent programs. If something is hogging up your connection, then you will be plagued with connection issues on the emu. The P2P programs are particularly bad about this. If you aren't running them on your own PC, make sure that no one else in the house is. You can probably do a speed test at www.dslreports.com and see what your connection speed is.

You can still run P2P or Torrent programs on your PC if your internet connection is a good one, but you will have to tweak the settings to save some bandwidth for EQ. Also limiting the max number of connections P2P uses helps a TON.

This time i broke a little ground. Deleted eqclient, then switched refresh rate from 0 to 60. After a couple of attempts i actually made it to the character screen by using quick connect, but it looked pretty laggy. Then i tried to maximize screen some and it crashed. Haven't got back to it since.

Not sure if that is really what helped because the game is windowed anyways on my screen. Running full screen gives me eqgame.exe crash error
