Default Monsters Stand still

Hi I've worked on my server for days now, and overcome very very many problems. My server's been up and running for a while now but I just noticed, for isntance, when I am in butcherblock, (and I think everywhere else) the monsters pretty much stand still. a couple wandering greenbloods wander everynow and then, but other than that, they stay where they spawn, so if I kill them I'll leave a big pile of corpses underneath them. Also, it's probably worth noting that I am using ax_classic_3.7 database. something off this topic though, is that I had read that minilogin doesn't work anymore, but that must be false, it seems I've got it working, I'm probably just outdated in my info sources though...

Another question I have is about the quest journal- Is there anyway to make it work? It doesn't copy down any quest info!

What version 3.7 are you using? Get my latest 3.7c (you can use the core update) , and install it. I found and solved a problem where the GRID table got corrupted and many entries were missing.
As for standing corpses, I think you can adjust corpse decay time in table 'VARIABLES'

I think it is just adorable when people refer to them as "monsters".

Thanks, I will do that, and I will eventually be back with the results.

Wow, Thanks Everything's pretty much working very well now, but at the risk of sounding quick to ask questions, do you know where I may find plugins for quests? Specifically I don't see try_tome_handins in my plugins folder, perhaps I don't need it though. And thanks for helping already.
