Thanks for the trust Wind. Unfortunately I am everything but a coder. I am purely a 3d modeler and nothing more. The only code I know is actionscript 2/3.0, perl and html. I'd love to help out as much as I can on the modeling side however, the major issue right now is that my motherboard for my computer has fried. Luckily I have a new ASUS on the way and I'll have to re-setup my media center. I am well on the way to getting back up and I'll be spending a lot of time studying texture mapping and human anatomy.

PS: It would be nice to have a SVN repository. A model section, I could upload a lot of my own models. (I've been working on packs.)

If we can get an SVN up that we can all contribute to, I think things would improve quickly. That sucks to hear that your box died, and I hope you get up and running soon.

This is where I am right now. I have most things remappable, and as a bonus the commands will be localizable in the game text XML file. There are several new sections in it, and even the key list (both in terms of their names, their values, and what shows up in the key list) are configurable in the XML file. I still have to map emote commands and do some more work around them, map command parameters (like pet commands, "on", "off", etc.), but the bulk of the work is done. Multiple keystrokes can be mapped to a function, too, and it supports multiple command synonyms (e.g. "loc", "location", "l", etc.). It's all pretty slick.

I tested buying a spell from a merchant and it worked, so I think the merchant problem is a database issue.

I have not tried spells from merchants only the items in windszone for tradeskilling and the armor, can't imagine what the issue might be with it though, I was using the default db with 4.0.26 and I used the emu server you distributed. I will try a fresh install of everything after the new release, and see how it goes with that.

Is there a possiblity we could get a list of the Item icon ID's and succh as you have them setup so it is easier for people to edit the items table?

Why don't you host one of those svns on one of the free sites?

I think cause sites like SF require the project to be licensed under an opensource license like gpl most likley
