I think this is what your looking for .

The Realm

http://www.cerebus.net:8080/

The server is owned by the developer of the bots and is updated frequently.

Legit EQ PVE with some really nice touches,

Server details here

Really, I would recommend any of the servers that have more than 20 players on them. They are all great. Each server has it's own touch. It probably wouldn't take you long to get addicted to any of them or to be able to tell if the server is not for you. Maybe try playing a few hours on each one and see what you think. The first impression is usually the best one

Trevius said it best. if it was me, i'd try out all the servers with 20+ people at your normal play time.
each server is truly unique and offers something different, whether it be communities, raid encounters, XPing, etc.

personally i like VZ/TZ because i always thought waiting in line for things was dumb :p

(Disclaimer ~ yes im on the staff, and yes im bias )

If you are looking to play solo I'd recommend Irreverent's server. It's a good server and is very live-like. I also have a solo server, Pelican's Solo Server which has a little more custom content than Irreverent, but has a pretty small player base right now.

Sorry, is Irreverent the server name at the server select screen?

Reason I ask, is I dont see it listed. I do see Pelican's but not Irreverent.

and on a side note:

How do you access the bot system on Pelican? I was tring to find a quest npc to activate them etc. just wondering.
