Are you saying that the links in my sig aren't working? They work fine for me even on my iPhone.

This issue has nothing to do with the server code and is a client issue. I've witnessed such an issue before when playing in windowed mode and cycling applications heavily. The character is moving at full rate of speed in reality but frames are being drawn at 15-20FPS making seem like your creeping along. You can try some basic render troubleshooting like toggling fullscreen/windowed mode (alt+enter) when it happens. If that fixes it, you've got a background application that is causing your problem.

6.) If you are running a Dual Core CPU or Windows Vista, you will probably need to read the following post and apply at least one of the fixes listed in it: http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/sho...t=25327∞
This is wrong. I don't know how many times I have to say it.

If you are running Vista, you DO NOT NEED THESE FIXES. Vista already includes these fixes natively in the OS. This fix only applies to Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.

This link should clear thing up much better.

The compatibility mode change in Vista is definitely helpful sometimes. I have seen many people report that it resolved their issues with multi-core CPUs on Vista.

Yep - they explain it much better in the last lin I posted.

I've only had to do that once and that was back when I had WinXP installed. Ever since I moved to Vista, I didn't need it.

Can't wait for the Windows 7 RTM next week.
