eqlaunch is/has been running, as has EQemuLoginServer.

I did adjust the syntax of my startup batch file to use pause instead of wait, but it doesn't appear to have changed the outcome.

I tried manually launching too, but the result remained the same.

here's a log from eq emu launcher

Yes, I just learned how to format my messages like that.

It looks like I've got a few things going on here,
'Loading npc faction list' is failing,
world is unable to load item data, eqtime.cfg cannot be found,
world seems to be asking for zone to keep relaunching dynamic zone servers that are already running.

I don't know if some/any of these messages are normal/nuisance messages, or if they all represent problems that need to be addressed.

Also, I've noticed that at the server selection screen, the scrolling message says I have 0 of 0 expansions, when I connect to public servers, I am listed as having 25 of 25 expansions. I don't know if this is related.

Thanks again for helping me through this.
The server select screen showing number of expansions doesn't matter as far as I can tell.
The EQTime.cfg... not 100% but I believe it has to do with calculating the in game time/date (clarification from peeps who know better plz) Will not effect game play.

What client version are you using?
If your using anything other than a fresh install of Titanium CD's, or SOF DVD you will not connect properly.

Also what DB and Emu versions are you running?
concievably... if one is way older than the other... you may run into issues as tables change to keep up with feature changes.

as far as it looks to my slightly less noobish eye, the server looks like is running fine until the client tries to connect, so either the client version is the issue, or there is a call to a table variable that is used differently (hence a db/server version issue)

It took me a week pouring over the forums to get my server to run... and it seems the cherry server is the hardest
