Well I am playing on projecteq.net server. I am pretty sure they have SOF enabled. I cannot login to Eqemulator.net with SOD with port set to 5998 or 5999. I can with Titanium though. I know it is still buggy using the SOD.
I havent gotten my own server working with SOD yet but havent really messed with it too much yet. Was waiting for new PEQ database to come out.
Unless you can think of something else I can try, I will wait to see what happens and in the mean time play without Drakkin capabilities. Maybe try to get my private server on lan to accept the SOD client.

Thanks for the quick responses.

When said I cannot load to SOF zones it tells me at character select I cannot use Cresent Reach as a start city because I do not have expansion. Same with making a Drakkin. maybe that helps maybe not. /shrug again thanks.

BTW was this the proper place for this type of post?

Actually, since your post is specifically about the PEQ server, your thread should have been made there, not here.

The reason you are unable to access SoF or SoD zones, or use Drakkin is probably because PEQ only has content done up to LDoN currently, so the newer clients can't access the newer content there yet. Also, since LDoN did not have the Drakkin race, they probably have their expansion setting set to only go up to LDoN. Doing that will prevent accessing zones past that expansion and prevent you from using player races from later expansions, which is why you can't create a Drakkin.

You won't be able to use SoD through the EQEmu Public Login Server until Rogean gets it working with it. But, on PEQ, you should be able to connect with the SoD client if you connect via their private Login Server.

If you want to verify that you can actually access SoF content, you can create a character on Storm Haven using the SoF client and you will automatically start in Crescent Reach. But, you really don't need to bother even trying that, because I am sure it will work just fine.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the information and that helps.

Only reason I tried to use PEQ's server was to check that it all worked LOL. Guess I should have made sure of what content they were running. I noticed they said you can log in with the SOD client, which I can, but didnt see that information.

Thank you greatly for taking time to let me know.
