If your Titanium client hangs when trying to log into the eqemulator.net Login Server, that means 1 of 2 things:

1. Your Titanium was not installed directly from the retail CDs as is required for EQEmu. Maybe you downloaded Titanium from SOE or somewhere else. That won't work.

2. Or, you patched your Titanium install, even just a bit by mistake.

It has to be a fresh unpatched Titanium installation directly from the retail CDs for that client to work.

As for SoD, that one doesn't work because you have to register an account on the tsahosting.net Login Server in order to use it. And the only way to register an account on it is to get onto Storm Haven or PEQ in-game and use the #setlsinfo command.

I've honestly onwed EQ for almost 12 years now I think I have the retail CD's.
and honestly about the patched thing I never patched it. it just all a sudden one day I went to try and connect and bam! it says I can't so I'm just like wtf. cuz I've played on Storm Haven before just it doesn't let me connect so idk.

I guess I can whip out the ol' discs yet again and reinstall don't really see the point sincing I've done this almost 30 times already.

If you are sure you are using a fresh unpatched install of Titanium installed directly from the Titanium CDs, then the problem is definitely a port issue on your end. It could be that your ISP may be blocking port 5998 or port 9000, but more likely the problem is on your PC or your router.

Try setting your PC as a DMZ from your router, and make sure you have your firewall and any other security software turned completely off.

Also, if you have Everquest: Trilogy/trial installed, uninstall that, as that has been known to cause some weird issues with separate installs of EQ for some reason.

Another thing is that if you are going to try reinstalling, make sure that you uninstall EQ, then completely delete the Everquest folder before you re-install. Without deleting the folder completely before reinstalling, you will run into issues if there is something wrong with your current folder.
