Disconnects atfter 5-10 mins of entering game.

my screen isn't full size. it has a gap at the bottom. my mouse flickers when im loading up. When on the off chance i get into the game it disconnects me. My screen rez is also messed up. I can't read the words on the screen. I've been tryin to play for over a week now and it wont work. someone plz help.

I see several things that might cause your problems. Lack of video and system memory are your biggest issues. The lack of video memory is more of an issue than system memory in this case. Another serious issue I saw was that your GPU driver version date postdates the discontinuance of your graphics card by two years. More information on that: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownloa...legacy-xp.aspx I know companies such as Dell sometimes have specialized driver sets for their computers but to continue to support a product two years after it has been discontinued is pretty hard to believe.
I won’t say that it is impossible to run Everquest on that computer setup but a few upgrades would go a long way towards smoothing out some problems. Just getting a newer graphics card would likely fix several things.
Some older motherboards allowed you to set your agp aperture size in the bios and while ideally you would set this to the memory size of your graphics card it can be used to force the system to use system memory for video memory. This usually isn’t the best solution for lacking video memory as you will take a hit on system memory and processor usage but it can be used to get you through a tight spot. If this option is available to you then set your agp aperture size to atleast 64mb.

To access your bios you usually press a certain key after your motherboard completes its post check. Unfortunately the key that needs to be pressed at that specific time can vary by motherboard manufacturer it is usually the delete key but it can also be any one of the Function keys as well. F1, F2 and F3 seem to be the more common alternatives to using the delete key. When you first turn your computer you should either hear a beep or see a screen telling you to press some key to enter setup or your could get both. When this occurs you need to press either delete or one of the function keys. Doing so fast enough will allow you to enter your bios.

Having white land is usually a result of outdated or incompatible gpu drivers or an outdated gpu. Wait till you have solved the white land issue before attempting to solve the flickering mouse issue as the two are probably related.

i also cant consider anything or loot the ogre corpse at the beginning. how do i talk to these npcs? just right click em right? Man this game has caused me lots of stress. can't wait to get it working.

What client version are you running? And, you haven't patched to Live at all have you?

For considering, just press C, and for speaking with NPCs, press H (for hail), then type /say and the phrase they have inside [brackets].
