A zone crash will do it as well..you need to double-check your zone log, or at least the eqlaunch (zone server) window to see if it has rebooted.
You haven't given enough information to determine what your issue could be. Did you have a running server before and switch to a bots build recently?
If so, did you source in the bots.sql file into your db? I don't know if your server would actually start without it, but it would most likely crash camping out.
