When you connect your laptop to the wired connection, are you using the same physical port?

I'm not a network guru, and I don't recommend port-forwarding as a solution..but, you will need ports 7000-7100 forwarded as well.
(This explains why you can't get past the login server.)

If port-forwarding solves your issue, I'd look to your router. Of course, I'd expect you to have other connectivity issues as well..not just EQ.
(Do you have NAT turned off? It may be required for wireless connections, but not wired.)

Woot a Bert player! (That was my live server)

I don't have those ports open. I'll give it a whirl.

No, I used the cord from the back of my xbox and put it in my laptop. I may switch ports on the router and see if anything gives. Someone on the Project 1999 forums was saying that I thinks it's more of a Windows issue than EQ or Routing. Other things I've read said it was network. I honestly have no clue right about now.

NAT is enabled. My router equipment hasn't changed in about 6 + years. I was able to connect on the same cable and port of the router before I built this new PC.

It wasn't in my 1st post but I also am running the program as admin.
