Just wanted to chime in here with some good words of encouragement for S2k. I've been having a lot of fun here. You can solo or box up to a full group or even join in a group with others. The tutorial zones are interesting with nice starting armor and weapons and a few quests. lots of mobs to kill and a good number of custom zones. I've met a good number of nice and helpful players, as well.
S2k needs work, sure, but the owner is working on it actively and is active in the playing community. I think its pretty cool to be a part of a server that's growing as I play. I would encourage everyone to give it a try. I stopped in to just look and a month later I'm still here. Anyway, just my 2 cents of endorsement.
