EQ Live Timelocked Progression usually 6-18 months depending how long friends/guild stays active.
EQTest-dont think you can anymore but used to play with The Faceless and do the progression runs.
Live is a guild lobby AFK Fest until raid hours. Youll find one face or guild tag you remember on old servers but most of the time no fun. I have always played the new Time Locked Progression servers and made plenty of memories and fun times and may again its untelling.
I have also played EQEmulator some servers have pulled me in for a few months of play but usually in a few weeks you do most of content or max out your characters if your logging in daily.
I realize that if you play a close to live server from say Pre Omens of War and your guilded with friends youve known for X amount of years and other guilds are competing than it always lasts longer and takes more time.
I think burning out on EQ means you have no guild members, friends, or family playing and become bored because even if your not maxed out the fun and interaction is gone and that played a huge part in EQ for most people.
If your looking for a new EQ Experience and havent played any different servers you should give these a try. Lots of custom addins or different stuff going on there are others these are just what comes to mind
