Sorry, not sure why you're having probs with the updates, or why something went wrong. A new database, when downloaded, does not come with all the updated tables. The update script (eqemu_server.pl) is used, everytime you start the server up. (That's what I was referring to in "startup scripts"). You can also use that script to keep your server updated, by running it alone. I would suggest you go into your database, set the db_version to 9000. Then run that update script (eqemu_server.pl) I usually just double click on it, in windows and it brings it up, with menu options. Once you have all updated tables, that db_version should currently show 9139.
