Also, just to clarify, once that database is fully updated, with 9139 version, you should have 221 tables in it. After that, you won't have to worry about being nagged with backups, etc., it only auto-runs when updates are available and applied. You will usually see "No updates needed" (or whatever), when you start it up normally.

You should be using utf8mb4 regardless, I would make sure your database engine can support it

That's the problem I have Akka, even when I dump a table from my db, I have to remove the "mb4", before it will let me source it back in. I'm just using MySQL 5.1.72 and Navicat to play with it.

Ah I see what you mean now - I missed the call to the script. Using the script directly, I can reproduce all of those errors, so it is definitely failing on the DB update piece. I checked my db_update folder and all the files are there but I still see tons of "the system cannot find the path scecified" errors after each and my DB is certainly not updated - I even found where the script should have create the db_version table but did not (I created it manually at this time, though I can still find no reference to the faction_base_data table mentioned).

A bit of a loss at what to do next.
