If you want new items, I suggest you use (and get your friends to use) the item collector at http://lucy.fnord.net

From that we can get 95% of the real data to make items from automatically. They are then included in the next release of the Addon DB

The only way to get all the data is to use the packetcollector to log items. I'm not sure if this has been kept up to date though since I havn't had a live account for about a year.
