Patcher files in zip format are not warez lol

Sure, there is a free download of EQ, but then you have to patch it, guess what, you just broke the emulator. The files you downloaded off the the official Sony site, don't work with the emu, sony ain't that stupid, it will only work when EQEmu can work with the updated EQLive.

Giving out EQ Files are illegal, ever heard of copywrite? The patcher is legal, because it will only download the files when it finds EQ on your computer, hence the reason to put it into your EQ directory.

*edit* Sony can give out what ever they want, its there files. Its not EQEmu's files.

We don't condone warez. Stop telling people to post it. If it's posted, people who don't own the game will be downloading it. We won't allow that.

Anyway, people that give out the links should be banned and this thread should also be deleted. Read the rules. I might not be 100% accurate in my last post, but close enough :P Just tired of seeing these guys who don't know how to read the rules, to many of em.

99% of the devs don't play EQLive I bet. So they don't have to follow the EULA on EQLive, they don't play on it.

You've been registered for like 2 days. I hadn't played for nearly 3 months. Before patcher, you OFTEN waited months to play at all if you patched. Just relax; take in the sights, and be excited about the up and coming changes.

Say warez was allowed, I didn't have EQ on my machine right now, and don't want to loose the URL of the site. I would simply download them, put them onto a CD, and use them once I get EQ.
