I wish I had the connection to support a server. Only have a cable modem right now, with a 256 upload cap. Wouldn't support very many people. Someone's gonna get canned if more than one person zones at the same time.

I started populating an original world. Had wandering mobs, aggro, assisting, and loot drops all working. Was gonna gear it towards a level 60 and above group of 6. Mainly because my friends and I were going to treat it like any other LAN game we own. Get together on the LAN and do a dungeon or two. I had all our old EQLive characters as bosses to certain dungeons, with all new guards, wandering patrols, entire moving platoons etc.

But, alas, my friends weren't as interested as they seemed to be when I told them of what I was doing. They seemed all gun ho about it... but it's been a few months now and they 'still' have yet to reinstall EQ on their systems again (we all quit EQLive around the same time, they all uninstalled it, whereas I went on to mess with the emulator). So they don't seem to really care, so I stopped working on creating content. No point in wasting all this time populating something that no one will ever see (my friends aren't into it, and I don't have the connection to support a public server).
