No, just leave the folder alone. You can skip the patcher many different ways. But these are the two most popular ways.

1. ) EQW - http://www.eqwindows.com
This program allows you to run EverQuest in a window (before the alt+enter was created with EQ) It will give you an option to patch, or skip the patcher.

2. ) Patchme -
1. Press Start
2. Go to Run
3. Type in your everquest directory/eqgame.exe patchme



There may be other ways of doing this, but these are the two most popular methods around here.

suggest that you make a seperate eq folder. Just incase you accidently patch and your out of playing for a month or however long it takes to redo eqemu due to big patches. You'll be very glad you did so when that time comes. Cause we all have mistakes and screw up, and don't let the little screw up screw you over.
