the windows xp personal firewall (right click properties on network places...etc...)
disabled on all comps.
my config files look EXACTLY like they should per the 5.0 server guide on this website.
i have not changed anything, done anything extra, or not done something that isnt in the 5.0 guide.
So...that should narrow it down to where im at. (step 16...RUN EQ!)
On the server, i run world....then boot5zones.....wait a sec....then go to Main pc, and run the eqgame.exe patchme shortcut per the connect guide on this website.
I get the server lists, i see my server, i click to connect, it gets to the first loading screen, then pops back to server list, with the 1017 error.
My server also shows the "LOCKED" in blue to the right side on the server list....if that helps anyone.
