There is a 2 programs that might be of use to you for this.
Number uno: Somewhere on this site ( i forgot where) is an item viewer.. It allows you to look through items that are global/zone. The items are like ordered by expansions. I.E. gequip = first eq global items, gequip2= kunark global items,etc etc..
And another thing that would help you find the item's # would be the Mangoo's latest item editor. Just source the dumpeditems.sql and search for your item in there to get the item number, I.E. if you wanted the weighted axe, search it, get number, go to viewer, select it, view it in 3d.
