Default crashing to desktop

after i agree to the terms of service thing and i type in my username and password, i click ok and it freezes for 2 seconds then crashes to desktop without an error message, anyone kno whats wrong?

The Emu is not compatible with the latest patch, you need to wait til it gets fixed.

what do you mean the emu is not compatible with the latest patch. Does it have anything to do with the eqhost file? Please elborate as i dont understand.

If you are patched to the newest version of EQ Live, you can't use the Emulator.

So we could just get away with reinstalling the olderversions of EQ and running emulator w/out patching i'm assuming?

Not really, if you preform a new install of everquest it will not work with the emulator eaither. Each version of EQEMU is compatible with a certain patch version of Everquest. At this time your best bet would probably be to go to WR's website and use their patcher so you can play their version until EQEMU is up to current.

WR is the only server that uses the version they use, however, so you'd only be able to play there.
