I'm pretty sure that's not true. but i do have mine set with the actual ip.

Your problem is probably with the ports. You need to go to applications and games in your router panel. and open up any port you see the zone / world referencing.

try these.
admin:password
admin:admin
(blank):admin

if none work, call linksys tech support they can help you log in.
