Default Cofruben's Patcher | 1.3 |

New cool release of this tool, remember, use it at your own risk,im not responsable of anything!

1.3:
-Client window won't freeze when trying to connect,or while downloading files.
-The progress bar will show the current status of the file download.
-Right of the progress bar, there is a new textbox, with the current downloaded KB's(or MB),and the total.
-You can now type in server console, added a command:
Reload:that command will reload all files in files.txt.
-Client,once patched, will ask you for running eq.
Please post any bugs on this new version.

1.2b:
-Size bug should be fixed.
-Improved file loading in server.
-New limit on numbers of files:1500.

1.2:
-Less network usage for information sending.
-Motd is now allowed, remember to update settings file.
-Autopatch included in client.
-Subfolders are now supported, see below for the new syntax.
-Fixed some crashes.
-Changed limit of the files from 50,to 500.
-server shows the ip instead of the socket.

New file syntax:To configure the files to patch, use the following syntaxs:
-For adding a normal file to patch:
filetopatch.extension (for example: eqmain.dll)

-For adding a normal file in a subfolder:
subfolder\filetopatch.extension (for example: uifiles\default\equioptions.xml )

-for adding a subfolder, including all of it's files:
subfolder\* (for example: screenshots\*)
That will auto-add all files in there.

-for adding a subfolder with all of it's files in another subfolder:
subfolder\anothersubfolder\* (for example: uifiles\default\* )

Don't forget to change settings.txt, the second line should have the motd you want to show in client.(All motd in the second line, don't use new lines).
Well,I hope someone of you enjoy this.Have fun!.

I put in files.txt "general.txt" which was a file in the same folder, and when I went on the client the wierdest thing happened... A bunch of dos windows came up and in the client's directory there were 10 new folders and 1 new file.

General.txt (file)
General.tx (folder)
General.t (folder)
General. (folder)
General (folder)
Genera (folder)
Gener (folder)
Gene (folder)
Gen (folder)
Ge (folder)
G (folder)

Okay--- I think I've found a bug.

On Windows 98 SE, running the CPServer and having a client connect to it seems to drain a ton of memory regardless of whether anything has to be patched or not. The memory drain only seems to happen when a client tries to connect and doesn't stop after the connection does.
