Default DSETUP.dll was not found??

This is the error I get when trying to use my shortcut of eqgame.exe w/ patchme in it. This is the first time I've tried to run EQEmu...so little help please

Window title is: "eqgame.exe - Unable To Locate Component"
Content says: "This application has failed to start because DSETUP.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

So, what the heck is that all about? If you say re-install it...which should I reinstall? I don't want to reinstall ALLLLLLLL my EverQuest expansions, that'd blow.

Thanks.

Don't reinstall everquest... It is a directx file. Do a search on google or yahoo and you can find it. Here is a site I found where you can get it... Dsetup.dll download. Good luck

Any idea on where to unzip the file to? Haha. It's a driver...but where does it go! Thanks.

EDIT: For future reference, I just unzipped it into C:/Windows and it ran fine...now I gotta figure out how to get EQEmu to run. Thanks again.

It needs to go in the C:/Windows/System directory not C:/Windows.

I put it in that System one and it still says that there is an error I have no idea what to do. I downloaded a dsetup.dll and extracted it into Windows System and now it says that EQ isn't responding. Any reasons why?

It still says it and if I ignore it and try again it says "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click on OK to terminate the application."

Never mind I fixed it. I had to reinstall everything that had to do with EQ.... That really sucked.
