Logging into server. please wait..... ... . ... .. ... .. .

when im logging it in just freezes there any ideas
when i make my eqhost the 9558 i can log on but i see PeQ and i want to play on ruling norrath. i could do this just yesreday but i reinstalled eqemu so i dunno whats up. my friend said to change it to 9554 to get on there but then it just freezes when i login help plz
