Support::General Support Post all topics here having to do with errors while trying to connect to an EQEMu server but not about the setup/running of the Server itself.

Default Problem connecting
I just reinstalled eq onto my comp, and i followed the directions on how to connect, i changed my eqhost file to

[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998


and added patchme to the target...

however when i double click on the shortcut that i created i get this "fatal error" that reads ERROR: couldn't load eqmain.dll. Then the screen just goes all black and i have to Ctrl+Alt+Del out of eqgame.

i have no idea what to do.


PS i have not patched eqlive.

nm, i just read that im "SoL" till eqemu is compatible /w the new eqlive patch. :(
