Default Bad news from prophecy of ro ...

PoR (someone say poor ? :p)
Can't work with the actual emulator.
Some .Eqg files aren't usable like part of freeport, northro, oasis and southro...
I think they make a new zone player in eqgame.Exe or need another config files.
That the bad news of day for who like graphic revamp like me :(

No the zones won't work with an old version of EverQuest which the emulator supports, if eqemu is updated to live it should be fine though.

I prefer also old interface than new but i like revamp graphic zone :p

they make two type of .eqg

The first replace old zone, one by one, and can be load in client 0.6.4 compatible

The second is a total revamp of much zone like
freeport (many zone, many more than 3 !)
oasis didn't exist now, south ro & oasis are the same zone.
This zone don't work with eqemu 0.6.4 :(

I search one issue with eqstr_us.txt (perhaps).

Edit: Some Zone access must be coded in Eqgame.exe, i don't think, i can use it :(
I succed use freporteast and freeportwest (Northro and southro resist).

zone short names and IDs are hard coded into the client, so you will not be able to use any newly named zones. On the other hand, you might try renaming them to other old zone names.

I have made that for freeporteast and freportwest ! that work (*.eqg don't have zone number coded in graphic files).
But don't work for southro and northro, i think they make something new in the EQclient.

So what expansions are playable with 0.6.4?

I have searched but haven't found a good list. Is it just PoR that isn't or are other expansions not working either.

With Last patch before 9/13, you can use zone up to Dod, but with little custom work you can also use some PoR zones
But on DB et features, last zone support is Luclin (With the release of peq at the end of beta). Read more here : http://projecteq.net

Thanks Belfridia. That helps. Now if I can just figure out how to get the UI error from happening I'll be set.
