Default question to developers: Bane damage?

question to developers: how did you guys code in Bane and Elemental dmg?

Specificly:
bane vs body type
bane vs race
+element

The reason I am asking is that I seen of portion fo code and it seems to me that Elemental dmg is added AFTER the base dmg is calculated, which is well... bad =)

But I like to ask the developers to be sure, cuase otherwise all +3 fire dmg, or +3 bane weapons and augment don't worth a shit =)

They're all calculated as a portion of base weapon damage.

For example a weapon that's:

Dmg: 13
Fire damage +1
Bane Vs Humanoid +2
Bane Vs Seru +3

Versus various targets:
A wolf assuming the fire portion isn't resisted: 14 (13 + 1)
A Magic immune humanoid: 15 (13 + 0 + 2)
A seru humanoid assuming the fire portion isn't resisted: 19 (13 + 1 + 2 + 3)

Unless I'm missing what the question is asking I'm not completely clear.

oh thank god =)
yes that is excatly what I was asking about - I was getting worried that the extra damage is added after base total is calculated, which would result in extra +banes to be totaly worthless at higher level

thank you KLS! =)
