Default How hard is it?

newbie here , only played serverss
I;m getting to a point i want 2 make a server of my own

Using packs etc , How hard would it be make my own Server and work on it , Atm not necccasly hosting , mopre working on the DB?

Thank you , I know ntohing of scripting/coding atm

This should have been posted in the windows server support or maybe just general support section. This section of for development of the server source code.

Getting a server up and running is easy. Just read through the wikis from the link on the emulator homepage. But, creating content and quests takes a bit of skill and lots of time. You will need to learn about perl, mysql and maybe a few other things. Most of it isn't too bad if you use GeorgeS' Tools from his website though.

If you do make a server, I can't wait to see what the quest text is like LMAO!

Just keep your help request posts in the support section and I am sure we can help you get setup and on your way to making a server
