Default Some odd game play problems on server

Ok I setup my windows server for the second time, running smooth in all aspects except a few little glitches that I would love some input on:

Proc's & Nukes on the Ranger characters are saying "cannot see target" Ranger only!

Ready to attack monsters are NOT attacking. Any character can run anywhere in the world and be safe. All the characters have account status of 0. No GM's or such.

Autofire does nothing also.

These are the only things I have found so far, any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

~Miethos

Ok I did some more testing and it seems that basically NO offense spells or proc's are working. They all say cannot see your target. All classes.

I re-copied the spells_us, spells_en files to make sure that wasn't the problem.

Still hoping somebody has an idea :-/

Thanks,

Miethos

You still don't have your .map files installed correctly. Or at the very least, you are missing the .map files for the zone you are testing in. Without the .map files, the server isn't aware of the 3D layout of the zone, so basically there are no checks for LoS, which means no detrimental spells or agro from NPCs (since they can't see you).

Make sure the map files your extracted to your maps folder didnt end up in a sub folder under maps ie : eqemuserver/maps/maps.
