Default Client Not Active in Process Errors

I have noticed that while trying to connect to my server through my Vista PC, I am consistently getting an error message that says Client Disconnected: Client not active in process (in World.exe). The error always occurs when I attempt to enter (any) zone from character select. I have never received this message on the XP desktop and laptop I usually log in on and was just wondering if anyone else has seen this? I did a search but without being able to search for that specific phrase I could not find any threads that seem to tackle the issue. It is a minor bug which could just be Vista specific but I thought I would see if anyone else was having the issue. I run CD's PEQ Pack w/ latest Update Pack (1129 rev 89) and Revision 201 from the google downloads for Windows binaries (sql's have been sourced in).

Try setting the shortcut to start EQ in compatibility mode. You can find directions on how in the FAQ in my sig in the dual core link.

Thanks Trevius, at work atm but will test your fixes out this week and see if they can lick it, if not, the Windows computers still work perfectly with EQEmu so it is a very minor problem. Been thinking about putting XP on the new laptop since I turned Vista on anyway...like Vista fine, but legacy support for software needs some major work. Thanks again!
