I played Everquest in 1999 and stopped playing maybe in early 2000, just after Velious was released. Never even saw any of that expansion and only saw a few Kunark zones, that's how long it's been.

But I've always wanted to revisit the world, just to see some old favorite zones.

The last week, I've had a chance to do that. And it's awesome. My timing was bad -- I signed up just as the login went down, so had to wait a few days to start playing -- but once I started, fun fun fun.

So thank you to the folks who have worked to make this happen, and keep happening. I'm very much enjoying this, hiccups in the system and all.
