Default GTK Radiant & EQ?

I was reading the tutorial here that explained how to import Quake III maps into EQ. There's a mapping utility called GTK Radiant that can make maps for the QIII environment and I was curious as to if anyone had explored this option for custom zone creation?

I started toying around with GTK while developing maps for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, and while I never actually finished all of the scripting and such to finalize a map (I always got caught up in messing around with geometry and such) I did have some structurally complete maps, and Classic EQ styled maps should be fairly easy to accomplish. Luclin era maps would be a bit more difficult as the smooth terrain is a pain to do w/ GTK unless you use a third party utility like easygen to plot it out.

In my opinion, GTK would probably be ideal for the creation of dungeons like SolB and Guk/LGuk, outdoor zones are possible but they would be laborious.

I'll be testing this out shortly - if anyone else has attempted this before or is doing it now and has any advice / tips, I would appreciate any insights.
