Default LDON Mob Count Mission Bug

I'm not sure whats going on if this is a bug or maybe not anyway I made this mission for the players in Dragon Necropolis the objective is to kill 5 of one kind of dragon anyway as they are clearing their way in killing spiders upon the 3rd spider they win the mission....

I think to myself perhaps it's me in their group / mission bugging them out so I have them do it just by themselves... Same Result..

Any ideas ? Are Mob Count missions broken atm or what..

Mob count are exactly what they say, mob count kills. Anything that's valid for experience in the zone counts toward mob count. If you want a specific npc type to count only you need to make it assassinate.

Either they miscounted, or they killed 2 other NPCs on the way to the 3

Oh ok so if it counts any mob in the zone then that's much better. I wanted it that way but when I read the wiki I thought you had to select a certain npc's id. Good to know!

NPC pets don't count towards the number, I hope.

Yes, count is any NPC, and assassinate is where you specify a single npc_type. Not sure on pets, never tried but I am sure KLS thought of that when it was coded

Live had the same issue with mob counts. You could use Eye of Zomm to count towards the total... that didn't last long.

Pets shouldn't count toward the total.
