Default Cant open EQ? Screen goes black and back to desktop.

So Ive done everything according to the readme. But I cant open the actual game. Like I dont get anything. I click on the shortcut, which Ive redirected to the place where the readme told me to. But when I click on the shortcut, the screen goes black like its trying to open and then it just goes back to desktop. No errors, nothing. Just like it never happened. Im running Windows Vista, I have Direct X 9 and I meet all the requirements.

Have you read the FAQ in my sig yet? You would specifically want to check out the part about desktop and EQ resolution settings. I don't think SoF has this issue, but since Titanium was made before some of the newer monitors (widescreen and such) with odd resolutions, I think it just doesn't support all possible resolutions. Try running windows at something like 1280X1024 and see what happens. If that works, you might be able to tweak the resolution from in game to a higher one that works better for your setup, but doesn't break the client.
